Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction
Welcome to Pack and Stack Removals. By using our services, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. If you do not agree with these terms, you should not use our services.

2. Our Services
Pack and Stack Removals provides professional removal, packing, and transport services. We will arrange for the collection, transport, and delivery of items as specified in our agreement or quote.


3. Booking and Payment

  • Booking: To book our services, clients must provide a description of the items to be moved, along with the pickup and delivery locations. A confirmed booking will be issued once the service is agreed upon.

  • Payment: Payment must be made before or on the day of the move unless otherwise agreed. We accept various payment methods, including bank transfer, credit card, and cash. If payment is not made on time, we reserve the right to cancel the move.

  • Cancellations: If you need to cancel or reschedule your move, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance to avoid cancellation fees. Failure to do so may result in a cancellation charge.

 

4. Our Responsibilities

  • We will take reasonable care to ensure the safe handling and transport of your belongings. However, we are not liable for damages due to factors outside our control, such as poor weather or inadequate packing by the customer.

  • We provide a basic level of insurance for the transport of goods, but additional insurance may be required for high-value or fragile items. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure their items are properly insured.

 

5. Customer Responsibilities

  • Packing: Customers are responsible for ensuring that items are packed securely and are suitable for transport. If requested, our team can offer a professional packing service at an additional charge.

  • Access: It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure clear access to loading and unloading areas. Any delays caused by lack of access may incur additional charges.

  • Heavy Items: Customers must inform us in advance of any particularly heavy or oversized items that may require additional equipment or staff.

 

6. Liability and Insurance
We take all reasonable precautions to protect your belongings, but Pack and Stack Removals will not be liable for any damage or loss caused by the following:

  • Natural disasters or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.

  • Improperly packed items or items that were not disclosed at the time of booking.

  • Any damage to the property being moved due to insufficient access or unsafe conditions at the pickup or drop-off location.

For valuable or fragile items, we recommend obtaining separate insurance coverage.
 

7. Force Majeure
Pack and Stack Removals will not be held liable for delays or failure to perform our services due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, or government restrictions.

9. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom.
